Georgia continues to offer one of the most open and expat-friendly visa regimes in the region. Here’s what you need to know as of July 2025:


Citizens from over 95 countries can enter Georgia without a visa and stay for up to 365 days. This includes:
EU countries
United States
United Kingdom
Canada
Ukraine
Russia
Israel
Turkey
Many Gulf countries (e.g., UAE, Saudi Arabia)
South American nations like Brazil and Argentina
You only need a valid passport (with at least 6 months before expiration) to enter.

Please, note that you are eligible for the e-Visa only if you hold one of the travel documents/passports listed in the appropriate section.
Attention! The information provided by you will be checked at the border crossing points of Georgia. If you provide incorrect information your e-Visa will be invalid and you will be refused to enter Georgia.
In case of dual citizenship, please, choose the country according to the travel document/passport which you will be using for traveling to Georgia.

If your country is not on the visa-free list, Georgia offers an easy-to-use electronic visa (e-Visa) platform. You can apply online and typically receive approval within 5 business days.
